Help Writing Your Essay on Nature

Nature is a topic that has a decent amount to work with across the board. Unfortunately, you’re not likely to get an entertaining nature essay although a human nature essay could turn up something amusing. Other than that, you’re looking at most facts and stats which will serve nicely for the body of your essay.

Essays about nature tend to be mainly for a field of study revolving around that, so you’ll really have to search to find essay examples to use. Nature isn’t exactly a hot subject overall to write on, but if you’re in the field of study you’ll have to do it eventually and that means the pressure is mainly on you to pull diamonds from this lump of coal of a subject.

On the bright side, there are plenty of nature essay topics to work with. If you want to go ambitious with your essay on nature, try an Emerson nature essay. If you’re looking to simply get through this, stick to facts and don’t chase the flourish.

General Topics for Your Essay

Let’s just dive right into topics you can research to find material on for your nature essay. Remember, research is the most important phase in the essay writing process and you’ll do it often while working on one essay. After you’ve researched everything, you’ll want to ask questions as a means to find your thesis, then form that thesis into a statement to hang your essay on.

Common essay topics to use for an essay:

  • Geology;
  • Atmosphere, climate, and weather;
  • Geological evolution;
  • Bodies of water;
  • Ecosystems;
  • Landforms;
  • Evolution;
  • Flora and fauna;
  • Humans’ relationship with nature;
  • Pollution.

As you can see, there isn’t much to work with as far as an entertaining, attention grasping essay would go. There are some that could get controversial such as evolution and to a far lesser extent our relationship with nature, but you’re really digging here.

How to Actually Write Your Essay

There really isn’t anything to writing the paper: remember the format your teacher wants and keep your writing within that. You’ll want to make sure to include plenty of facts between your introduction and closing, but write them in a way that the reader wouldn’t just be better off putting down your paper and picking up a textbook. You’ll want a strong introduction that gives a brief preview of what the paper will go into and a strong closing that reviews the paper and revisits your point. A good idea to tackling this is to simply do the introduction and closing first in the drafting stage, put that aside, then use your time crafting the body of your essay. Once you’re done with that, put it together and shape everything up. Slap your bibliography and make sure to have citations and your essay in nature is finished.

Remember, an essay isn’t as difficult as it seems. It only becomes difficult when time is wasted and you have very little to use on your essay.

Essay on Role of Music in My Life

Essay on Role of Music in My Life

Music was in my life long before I learned to distinguish different styles and genres, knew about work of great composers and musicians. The first melody that I still remember was the lullaby my mother sang to me when I was a kid. When the lullaby lyrics ended, my mother continued to vocalize quietly, and her melodious tunes calmed me down and, certainly, put the beginning to my love for music. Then, there were musical theatricals and plays, favorite child’s songs and first idols.

My taste changed accordingly to my age as I grew up. One day I liked rock, the next it was pop-music, in another week I was ready to give the last money for the records of well-known rep performers, sometimes under a mood listened to reggae, and did my homework listening to the popular songs played on various radios. And all the time it seemed to me that without music my world would be imperfect, as cold beauty is repellent without a warm smile, or a sea becomes boring without a gale and white horses on waves.

Music plays an important role in my life. When I am feeling sad, then I am trying to fix my mood by listening to some merry and popular ditty, often I begin to sing along, and my spirit rises literally in a few minutes. What is interesting, along with some popular tracks, which my coevals are listening to at the moment and give their preference to, I love to listen to the works of well-known classic composers. The sounds of violin and piano wake up mixed feelings in my soul. From one side, it seems to me that I glide beyond the clouds and give a way to the dreams, listening attentively in the easy flowing, ringing of bells and strong chords, and from the other, an anxious or touching melody affects all strings of my soul and draws me to tears. But such mood passes quickly because I understand that a musician reflected a part of his world and experience and passed to the listeners his ideas and emotion through the notes.

Classical music, to my belief, is an art, opening the entire world of passions and emotions, high feelings and noble gusts. It renders people spiritually rich and paints life with new vivid colors. Talented musicians, as nobody other, are able to express in their music their feelings of sorrow and gladness, lightness and disappointment, whims of nature or an emotions peculiar to the people falling in love. If a good melody is complemented with good lyrics, then such a work is remembered in the hearts of enormous amount of people for centuries and is listened to over and over, until every word and every sound it would have find a new sense.

Nature vs Nurture essay example

Nature vs. Nurture essay

Example essay on Nature vs Nurture:

The natural characteristics of a person can either be quite similar or quite different to the unnatural characteristics of a person. The natural characteristics of a person are the traits that come from their parents; the ones that people are born with which are genetical. These traits are developed biologically. The unnatural characteristics of a person, or the nurtured characteristics, are the traits that people develop themselves after they are born. The environment of a person’s life greatly determines their personality. The traits a person has that they weren’t born with are the traits that the environment has influenced on them.

There are many traits that I have inherited naturally through genetics from my mom and dad. I can tell that my work ethic has been inherited from my dad because he is a very hard worker and I also strive to achieve my personal best.

My mom tends to be very sensitive at times and concerned for other people’s feelings, which I know, I have inherited. I have also inherited my dad’s super mathematical skills and my mom’s artistic abilities. I can also tell that I have inherited a good sense of well being from my mom.

There are also many behaviors that I have developed from the environment I grew up in. I have learned to respect all people from being influenced at school and by my parents. I’ve also been trained to be responsible of things such as doing my work. I learned that if I am not responsible and don’t do my work, then I must pay bad consequences. I have also learned from experiences that if I do what I am supposed to do, I may be rewarded for it. I have been influenced to do something that will benefit myself and be rewarded for good things done. My environment has influenced me in many ways to act upon certain things automatically. Things like looking both ways before crossing the street, or other things that appear to be common sense are learned from nurture.

I believe that my personality is a combination of both nature and nurture. I think that I am probably more nurtured though. I have gone through many experiences in which I have learned different lessons. These lessons have taught me how to act in my life. I know that I am a very different person than my mom or my dad. I don’t have very much in common with either of them.

Although we do share some of the same aspects, I feel that I am more different from them than alike. I have developed the majority of my social skills from my friends and not my parents. Most of my social life revolves around my friends, who have influenced me in a lot of the decisions I make and in the way I act. I don’t socialize with my parents nearly as much as I do with my peers. I don’t think I know my parents well enough to say if I am like them when they are around their friends or not though.

My personality is also partly nature though because I find that I do think like my parents sometimes. Most of the time I find that I think more like my friends because I am around them a lot more. My parents and I share a lot of the same opinions too, and not just because I grew up thinking the same way they do.

The nature and nurture of a person can vary greatly. Sometimes there are certain things that are hard to decide whether they are inherited or learned. I might share some qualities with my parents, but they could just be characteristics that I learned in my life that my parents also learned in their lives too and weren’t inherited. I believe that genes indicate the potential for one’s behavior and personality, and that the environment helps create the extent as to how that behavior is carried out.

Descriptive Essay: Nature Brings Inspiration

A brand new kind of a custom writing service

Descriptive Essay on Nature

I’m not that kind of a person, who can have a lack of inspiration. When life seems dark and overshadowed, all I need to do to meet my Muse is…to go for a walk in a local park. Regardless of the season, I am always excited about admiring the Mother Nature and absorbing its beauty. There are so many aspects in this world of fauna and flora that describing its splendor by means of simple words could take hours, days, weeks, months and…even years! Nonetheless, it still won’t be enough! What do I like nature for? Its uniqueness. Green leaves, tiny snow flocks shining in the sun, rainy days when the fall begins, the first flowers of the spring – everything is beautiful and so unlike anything else you have ever seen and will ever see in this life!

Summer… Who doesn’t like it? Even those people, who can’t stand heat, will definitely agree that life is great when the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the world seems to be absolutely carefree! There’s nothing more compelling than a starry summer night, a fresh air, a fire and a guitar. The best stories have been shared under the summer night sky.

Autumn…While some people consider it the time when the rainy sky actually falls down on the ground, I find no better time to relax and get inspired. The sky is crying, the wind seems to be mad at everyone waking in the gray streets, but my heart full of inexpressible nostalgia. Wandering over the cold city, admiring the falling leaves and looking for my reflection in the puddle – no other time of the year can provide you with such a privilege to enjoy your loneliness and feel how the weather shares your passions.

Winter… The pleasant girl’s voice from the radio tried to convince me that “spring brings the rain, with winter comes pain…”, but so in vain. Winter is one of the synonyms for “magic”. At least it is so for me. Winter takes you away to the fantasy universe with the fluffy snowflakes, snow angels, shiny Christmas tree with presents and honest expectations than the New Year will bring something special. It feels like the trees are sleeping tight under a warm blanket, waiting for the spring to wake them up once again…

Spring…The first warmth of the spring sun provides you with a unique opportunity to admire the beauty of nature in its most compelling view! Beautiful plants and trees refresh the spring air with wonderful scents. Some people say that together with fantastic views and aromas that simply make you fall in love with the whole world, spring also brings hope. Hope for a new life, new discoveries and a better future. And I totally agree with such viewpoints.

To cut the long story short, I am absolutely open to state that every time of the year provides us all with a bunch of desired inspiration for life. Nature’s beauty, just as it is, makes us feel the harmony of the world and lets us dream on.

Essay in english Music in my life - Pullion

Can you think of a day without music? We can hear music everywhere: in the streets and at home, over the radio and on TV, in the shops and in the parks. People all over the world are fond of music. They listen to music, they dance to music, they learn to play musical instruments.

But what is music? Specialists explain that music isn't only a combination of pleasant sounds.

There are a lot of different kinds of music. Some of them appeared long ago, and some are modern. For example, folk music appeared long ago, but it is still alive. There are many local performers, choirs and folk groups in Russia; but perhaps the most famous singer is NadezhdaBabkina. Folk songs are very tuneful and pleasant to listen to. Classical music is often associated with the music of the past. However, this style also includes music being written now, and we may speak of modern classical music. Rap is a modern musical style where the singer speaks or shouts the words in time to music with a steady beat. Such artist as Eminem or group House of Pain are leaders in this style.

Tastes differ. So people's musical interests range from pop and rock music, which are extremely popular nowadays, especially among young people, to classical music and opera.

When I have free time I listen different records. I also like having background music while I am working.

It's a pity that many young people like to listen only to modern music. As for me, I also enjoy listening to classical music. Classical music is always a complex of emotions. It gives me delight, pleasure and a sense of happiness. Not long ago I listened to the Polonez - Goodbye to the nature land, composed by Oginsky. This music is sad, but I like sad music too.

The music I hate is heavy metal. I find it noisy and dreadful. Though some young people are fond of this style of music, it is not to everyone's taste. To my mind, music too loud can destroy our ears. I am indifferent to other styles of music. For example, I don't mind listening to jazz.

Each generation has its own tastes.

Natural Disasters

Descriptive Essay: Natural Disasters

With climate change causing increasingly chaotic weather patterns, natural disasters are becoming more common across the world. To properly set up plans to protect against natural disasters, it’s important to understand exactly what effects they have on society by looking at past disasters.

A natural disaster is anything ranging from a volcanic eruption to a tropical storm. This is regardless of whether the natural disaster was indirectly caused by mankind, like those caused as a result of global warming.

The distance is a major factor in the effects of a natural disaster. A major forest fire in the wilds of California, as has happened frequently in the late 2000s, impacts a minimal number of people because there are few people who live here. In this case, it’s an example of the devastation it can have on plants and animals.

During these fires, large swathes of forest were wiped out. It reduces the chance of another natural disaster in future, but it also sends large numbers of animals away from the area. This leaves California less naturally diverse and might deter some nature tourists, which impacts the economy.

The human cost is the main effect of a natural disaster when it occurs closer to densely populated areas. Mount Vesuvius is the most dangerous volcano in Europe and is the only European mainland volcano to erupt in the last 100 years. In 79 AD, it buried the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Today, it’s still active and 3 million people live in the immediate area.

The number of deaths impacts society because it wipes part of the population away. This leaves survivors traumatised and family members impacted emotionally. It’s also an economic problem as it could deprive businesses of valuable employees, or even destroy them completely.

In the context of a nation, a natural disaster in a populated area could easily cause an economic slump. The loss of business and the reduction in tourists to the surrounding areas can shut down companies and cause increasing levels of unemployment. It also encourages emigration, which promotes long-term negative economic effects.

Politically, there are two things which usually happen. The governing party of a country acts to aid the affected victims and it changes the ideologies and views of the citizenry. It also distracts them from any other pressing issues which the government has been dealing with. To some in politics, they take the cynical view of a natural disaster being a welcome relief for a government under fire.

Alternatively, the political effects become damaging. If the government doesn’t evacuate people quickly enough or hasn’t been seen to do enough to stave off a disaster, it could turn people against them.

Overall, a natural disaster goes further than just to change the lives of people directly impacted. It goes on to change the way a country does business, acts, and even the way it thinks.
